Einrich Elkhart was born to German francophile parents who inadvertently entered a portal to Mostlandia while moving to Alsace. The Elkharts settled in the village of Ohwowow on the banks of Lake Acadia, a short distance East of Mostlandia’s Rabbit Ears. Although raised speaking the local dialect of Won’King, Elkhart learned English at an early age by watching British newsreels owned by his mother, a film archivist. By age eight, he had also learned American by watching the films of Katherine Hepburn, whose movies his father greatly enjoyed. Elkhart’s career in bureaucracy started at nine when he became apprentice to the Assistant Auditor of the Village of Ohwowow. By sixteen, he had inherited his mentor’s job and was in line to succeed as the Primary Auditor when he was offered a scholarship to the prestigious Topophilia Academy of Bureacratic Sciences. After graduating with honors and receiving his degree in Verification Methodologies, Elkhart accepted a position as manager at Mostlandia’s Fact Check Floor in the central city of Topophilia. In a move that surprised both his friends and family, Elkhart left his position with the Fact Check Floor after only a year of service and embarked on a two-week mail-order course in Diplomacy from the now defunct Chicago Skill Systems Institute. Upon receiving his Certificate of Diplomacy (the first and only issued in Mostlandia), Elkhart was hired by the Mostlandian Embassy.

Elkhart spends his freetime between his residences in Topophilia and Heartache Gulley enjoying nightlifes, intrigues, and crossword puzzles. In preparation for the Australiandian portal of the Mostlandian Embassy, he has learned Australiandic by watching the Mad Max trilogy of movies.

Ohio Stiltson proudly began her career as a diplomat in 2003. Prior to this, she headed a research and development team for the Spot-it Brand Portal Spectrometer Company attempting to more accurately predict portal occurrences. However, she realized that she was more interested in assisting wayward portal travelers with their entry to Mostlandia. Such was her pride in her home place, she decided to dedicate her works not to predicting portals, but welcoming new arrivals to the land, giving advice, answering questions and celebrating high-fives. Ohio has been a member of the Mostlandian Clapping team since grade school and still participates in a recreational league during her off time from Ambassadorial duties.

Selah Blackbread has been happily working for the Moslandian Embassy for a short time (2005) and feels most at home being helpful and sharing with visitors her widespread knowledge of the more under-traveled areas of Mostlandia. After growing up in an extended family of sailors and bakers, she spent several years traveling Mostlandia by bicycle. She met many great citizens, saw the rare and endangered Alpenod on more than one occasion and became a master of making the traditional snack of Mostlandia (and her family's namesake), blackbread. Selah met Ohio Stiltson at one of Ohio's notorious Mostlandian Clapping Team meetings and quickly became an avid fan of the boisterous group. Ohio inspired Selah to work for the Embassy and Selah quickly took to the grand profession.
