Citizen Winter became the 9th citizen of Mostlandia in 2004 at the opening of the Yake Spot Portal in Portland, Oregon, USA. She is widely known among citizens of both Portland and Mostlandia for making rumballs that light the mouth on fire well past the moment of ingestion. Unpleasant as this may sound to the uninitiated, those who have tried one of these spiked confections will assure you that once you've experienced the fire of a Winter Rumball there's no going back.

Rumball Season!
Rumball is a time of year for starting new traditions and making vociferous declarations for the next year among friends. It is the time for seeking out fellow Mostlandics, raising many a glass to their health, passing out on a couch, and stumbling home in the wee hours of the morning.

December 18 is officially viewed as Rumball Eve as it was on this date in 2004 that the M.O.S.T. opened the first official portal to Mostlandia at the Yake Spot Portal in Portland, OR. On this date, we received our first 50 citizens and began our work as ambassadors to Mostlandia.

The day subsequent to Rumball Eve is called "The Last Day of Rumball" and is properly celebrated with a large breakfast of scrambled eggs and red beer (beer with tomato juice).

In concordance with the concept of Mostlandian time, which is always shifting, Rumball may be celebrated between the 9th and 18th of December of each year. This allows for Mostlandics to revel on weekends or other times more appropriately aligned with their work schedules.
